Boot Hill Drag Harvey Reynolds

Post by Bill Ferguson »

I just uploaded a new (old) video of the late Harvey Reynolds playing Boot Hill Drag.
The fiddler, Jerry Moore, is also deceased.

This is from the 1996 Smoky Mountain Steel Guitar Jamboree produced by our own Stoney Stoneceipher.

Great, non pedal, playing.

Hmm, I posted this several days ago and don't seem to have many hits either on the forum or on YouTube.

Just wondering why?

This is great picking.

Bill, I love that material. I like the tempo, the tone, and the simplicity of the arraignment.
The only thing I had trouble with is the volume level was pretty low.
Thanks for posting.

Yep, I don't know why the volume was so low. I've never had that problem with uploads before. I will have to do some checking.
