These tunes by Carco Clave have been on youtube for 9 months and not one single comment as yet. Why??

Bent, if this loads ok, let me be the first to applaud these videos. I have not seen them before but they are brilliant. I don't know what tuning he is using but he seems to get notes and chords without slanting the bar where you would expect a bar slant. Really nice Fiddle also. What is the guitar?? Obviously a keyless but??????. Any way congratulations on some really great playing, both steel and fiddle.

Dave,
From a post in "steel without pedals" by Don McGregor, it appears to be a C6th tuning on 10 strings.

I believe that Carco built the steel himself.
