My White autograph steel. w/ Curtis Potter

Post by Roger Edgington »

I just ran across this video from The Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium in Ruidoso, NM. You may have seen this Guitar at the steels shows. I now have around 70 Steel player signatures. A lot of them are Steel Guitar Hall of famers. I got Barbara Mandrell's :D signature at St. Louis this year. I rarely use this guitar on stage but I'm required to play non-pedal at this gig. I like to show this off on special occasions. It was fun to play. Go to this site and scroll down to Curtis Potter.

Roger, great playing as usual...Curtis Potter is one of Texas' best singers IMO. The entire Band sounded great too! Thanks for the link.

HI ROGER,

Your guitar sounds excellent.

What is the brand name of your guitar and which tuning are you using?

Roger, The steel is a Parker made by David Parker. It's a single ten C6 with a D on top. The steel was cnc machined from two peices of Myrtle wood glued together head and all. David cut it out years ago to be a pedal steel. It also has lights with variable intensity that glow through a white plastic diffuser and shines through the frets and position markers. I have been collecting autographs since 2002. Speedy West was the 1st. I'm fast runing out of room but there are more of my heroes I would like to have yet including Buddy Charleton,Sonny Garish,Bobby Seymore and Kayton Roberts. Roger
