Home In San Antone - E9th/C6th- Greg Cutshaw
The first three verses are C6th and the last is E9th. Drums are EZDrummer Nashville pack with manual edits. In the second verse I did the chords a bit differently with the G chord leading into a C9th instead of a G#dim. The original Ray Price version was 160 beats per minute and I sped this one up to 192 BPM.
I have the rhythm track and chord chart done and can tab some of this out if anyone is interested.

I was always confused about "San Antonio" versus "San Antone". so here's an excerpt
that I hope explains the relationship between the two names:
"San Antonio means Saint Anthony in English. San Antonio is pronounced both with or without an accent either in Spanish or in English , but many people call it San Antone. San Antone has been a carry over from early settlers that could not pronounce San Antonio and shortened the name. It is most remembered and pronounced as San Antone by what we call cowboys, ranchers, farmers, and simply proud Texans."
Thanks for the nice comments Al! Jack, I've never worked in a band where we could do this type of song so it's nice to record and get to pick songs like this to do. Fred, thanks for selling me the Hilton pedal and checking out my post. Larry and Joe, I had a request to tab out the E9th part so I'll post that when it's done along with the rhythm track and the chord chart!

San Antoino - For what's it's worth, I've heard it pronounced:
San Ann-Tone-E-Oh
San Ann-Tone-Ya
I'm live in Knox-vull, TN. I grew up in Sneed-vull, TN. The Grand Ole Opry is in Nashvull, TN.
Jack Greene is from Maryville, TN pronounced Mur-vull.
Dolly Parton is from Sevierville, TN. Pronounced Severe-vull. Herby Wallace lives there. Pronuounced Herby Wallace.
