On YouTube: me playing Birdland, Hold It, and other songs

Post by Jan Jonsson »

Hi,

Thanks to a friend with a video camera, I've finally managed to put my live music on YouTube. The videos below are from a debut gig with my new band, Flat Five Society, on May 1, 2009. A few songs were recorded in its entirety, while only a few minutes of recording were made for some of the other songs.

Dr Abraham (J. Schaffer) + Mercy, Mercy, Mercy (J. Zawinul) + Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Gilmour, Waters, Wright)

Fine (D. Gatton) + Red Baron (B. Cobham)

Birdland (J. Zawinul)

Hold It (B. Doggett)

Additional (audio only) clips from the debut gig can be found on the web site:

Thanks Danny! I appreciate your comment.

Here are two more songs that I've just edited, both of which include a guest vocalist.

Do You Mind (R. Tornqvist)

I Wish (S. Wonder)

Looks like a fun group to work with. You get to express a lot of different ideas. Nice to see steel in that venue.

Well Done!
