Looks like the vanguard of steel guitar jazz might just be happenin' outside the USA. Here are two guys new to our community who are really making great strides in steel guitar jazz.

Check out (in the Video Screening Room at www.SteelGuitarJazz.com) Jan Oelbrandt's cool version of Toots Thielman's classic tune, "Bluesette" (played expertly on a Sho~Bud Maverick no less!). Jan is from Belgium.

The other is from Sez Adamson (from South Africa), playing an a cappella arrangement of the great jazz ballad, "My Foolish Heart". Just beautiful.
