putting vidoes on youtube?

hello all. i have recorded some songs on the video camera and put them on a dvd disc. i cant figure out how to get them from the disc onto my computer as a file or how to get them uploaded on my youtube account.

anyone know how?

any suggestions?

Here come the questions, does the camera record to the DVD?
Does the camera have firewire on it and does your computer have firewire on it.
Do you have Windows movie maker on your computer or Adobe premier or even Nero?
Will the DVD you have play on a regular DVD player.
Do you have a DVD drive on your computer.
These are questions that lead to being able to do something with the video.

I use a program called Need4Videoconverter 5.9. You can find it by doing a search. I think the cost is 29.95.
