Sure Bob. No prob. The shots of JD aren't all that great. I first determined it to be him from the close ups of his right hand! I must confess I made a mistake regarding the other guitar picker. That is not Joe Walsh, rather Brit born sensation Albert Lee know the world over for his hot licks and chicken pickin'.!
This show aired a few times on our PBS stations here in the states, although I don't remember this particular part being included. It is a fabulous show and a blues fan's wish come true. Many of the greats in it. Probably available on DVD somewhere and should be in every picker's library.
Thanks for posting that clip as the entire show was not aired on the PBS special.
I noticed at about 3:17 a pedal steel in the background. Since I didn't see the entire program, I'm wondering who played it and with whom?

Cheers Jerry, Yes Albert and his fine pickin we know well here, the obvious choice of steeler when Albert is around would be Gerry Hogan as they tour together. At 3.17min in a (light of hair individual)(diplomatic or wot!) appears behind Jerry’s left shoulder that MO would fit Gerry Hogan but I can’t be sure! Someone seeing the clip will shed light on the steel question for us I'm sure! Glad you enjoyed it, it just blows me away and they are so enjoying the number!
I think that's probably Russ Pahl's Sho-pro; it looks like it and he's been touring with Vince for a few years. The band in this video is basically Vince's band; Billy Thomas on drums, Michael Rhodes on bass, John Hobbs and Pete Wasner on keys, Tom Britt on electric guitar, and Jeff White on acoustic... Peter Stroud from Sheryl's band is also on electric guitar (stage left).
