Advice on Renting Pedal Steel in Europe

Post by Jack Abraham »

I hope to be in the Netherlands this Aug09 - doing some studio work & a few gigs.

Any suggestions/contacts for renting a E9th,S10 or S12,3x4?

I'm reluctant to travel with LDG -- banged it around enough on local gigs.

Hello Jack

I might be able to help you out on this one.
I live in 's-Hertogenbosch (30km from Eindhoven, 90 km from Amsterdam) and I own a Garritt sd10 3x4)
I consider myself a person who takes good care of his instrument and when you can say the same about yourself , than you can use my steel should you want to.

Greetings from Peer

I forgot to mention the fact that my steellegs are higher than standard since my own legs are too.
I mesure 1.92m.

Jack, I have some steeler friends in Amsterdam. I'll bet one of them would rent or loan you a steel.

Thank you guys ... I really appreciate the feedback.

My friend is planning on recording at the "Watchman's" studio ... I am looking forward to making the trip.

I will check back with you all in a few months after things are finalized for the trip.

Peer: I would also like to check back with you on places to go to hear good live music while I'm there.
