Classic.

Could someone explain to a pretty-much-beginner how John played that signature up-and-down lick at 0.36?

Fret 13, strings 2 and 5.
Lower 2 a full tone (with the knee lever), and raise 5 a full tone (with the A pedal).
Pluck strings 2 and 5 simultaeneously, the slowly raise the second string up a semitone, then slowly release the A pedal and the knee lever

A-ha!

I've only got a semitone lower on the 2nd. That foxed me.

Thanks Richard!
