Parts Makers

Post by William Matthews »

Does anyone know what the name of the PSG parts makers are? I think the one I am looking for is in the great state of Texas. I don't think they make guitars, but they make parts. I am going to be looking for a keyhead and a roller nut.

You might also want to check Bobbe Seymour's shop. If I'm not totally mistaken, he'll make parts for any steel, and is a great person besides.

If interested, here is the URL

Bill.........there's lots of people that make parts.

Linkon Steel guitars
Lone Star Steel Guitars
Star Steel Guitars
are just a few of the people that make parts.Specify what you are in need for and maybe the people on the forum can point them out to you which one would be the best for your needs.
BTW.........I have a nice Keyhead(emmons I think) here with the nut on it.
Just mail me through the forum and I will get back to you when I come home from work.

Well here I was thinking I was going to be a smarty pants, and design something, and it was already done. I wanted a small neck type setup ( only a couple of frets long ) with strings so I could practice pick blocking and do finger excersizes, only to find out it's been done before. Oh well, I'm calling BSG guitars and going to order one. Thanks again guys..
