Steel Guitar Player or Country Pianist Needed.

We have a great band playing at the Elora Community Center in Tennessee (just outside of Fayetteville, just up from New Market, AL. and we are in need of an experienced Steel Guitar Player or Country Pianist.

History of the current band:
Matt Long from (Hsv, AL.) is the Lead guitarist/singer, Skip Farris (from Decatur, AL.) is the drummer, and Howard Martin (from Winchester, Tn.) is the bass player/singer... we are the regulars, but we have had trouble finding someone to play steel guitar or piano that will commit to playing on a regular basis.

The Gig:
This is a "PAYING GIG" (call for more info. on the pay) EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT from 7pm - 11pm (sometimes just to 10:30)
Also this is a Family atmosphere venue...there's NO alchohol being served and there is NO Smoking in the building.
Its a really NICE , CLEAN place to play and it has a nice large stage.

What we play: We play alot of old and new country...Merle Haggard, George Jones, Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Steve Wariner, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Tim Mcgraw, Dwight Yoakem, etc....a little old rock and roll and a little Sounthern Rock, but it's mostly Country.

What we DONT play: Hard rock or "alot" of Sounthern Rock

Practice: We will be having a FEW practices to start out with and maybe an occational practice when we need to learn something new from time to time, but do not plan on having to practice every week.

When we practice:
it will most likely be early in the afternoon on a Saturday (before we play that night). This will keep us all from having to make an extra trip to Elora (just to practice).

Whether you can sing or not is optional (we already have two singers in the band) However, if you do sing... we would welcome that as well, but it is NOT a requirement.
