Yea I know Jody. I was just having a good laugh about it.
Milo is going to do the studio work on Barbara and Jerry Cooks new album.
There will be some great songs on it including a couple of Leona Williams songs.
Barbara was really honored that she was ask by Leona herself to record these.
Barbara Ford-Cook has year after year been one of the best female vocalist from this era. She is pure country.
Barbara and Jerry are really special people and I love them both and wish them only the best.
I know for a fact that this album will be beyond great just because I know what they are both expecting from it.
They spent 6 hours yessterday in the studio doing the drum and bass tracks and Jerry said they are estimating to spend another 6 hours before they finish the vocals.
I can't wait until its done.
Thanks Jody

Anyone who doubts the brilliance of this guy, go to this site and listen to his acoustic guitar, fiddle, and steel, all on the same cut (Sweet Georgia Brown).

Milo is the guy who played that incredible steel break on LeAnn Rimes' first hit, "Blue".
There's a cassette by him in the Forum Catalog:
A-052-C - Milo Deering - "Swing That Music" - tape $10
It was released in 1992.

About ten years ago a new band I was working with played me a some cuts they'd done at a studio in Dallas that Milo had played on.
We all stood around listening to it when the lead singer turned to me an asked if I could learn the steel parts just like the demo.
Needless to say but I was floored by Milo's creativity, touch and tone.
