Hi Bent, the steel player is Bobby Garrett. One of the best. I think Jim really liked Bobby as he bought Bobby's guitar from Shot Jackson and put it in his museum. I think their problem was just a personality clash. Jim demanded things be done his way and Bobby had ideas of his own. It is a shame that these two great talents are no longer with us.
