Steel Chat Room Europa

Post by CrowBear Schmitt »

Considering the time difference between the USA, Europa & Down under, it's not always easy for all to hook up & get in on what's happenin'
For those of you/us that are sawin' wood while our American brethren are whoopin'it up perhaps we could hook up while we're awake
if so, get in on Ray Walker & Don Poland's Intl Steel Chat Room & make things happen

ps: since it's a family orientated room, no cussin' or swearin' dig ?
Mercy ! ;-)

Crow,
It's so good to have you in with us.
I don't get in in the morning very often
due to my schedule but
I plan to catch you in there one day soon.
I've been conversing with you on the forum for years,
but talking in real time will be a blast.
Besides, I think you were one of the
first ones to welcome me to the forum when I
joined years ago.
Once again, good to have you as a member my friend.
Here's to many good times together ! :D
Just remember,
You dont stop playing cause you get older,
You get older cause you stop playing ! http://www.myspace.com/johnpphillips

You betcha CrowBear. The room is open twenty four seven and there's no earthly reason why the guys across the pond can't get in on the fun. We are gearing up for the winter crowd. We will be having David Hartely in for a great evening of fun and we are scheduling a night with Gary Carpenter and Corky Owens and the whole Rains guitar crowd to answer questions and do some demos for everyone. We have several seminars planned for this season as well. Wednesday nights is jam night. If you want to play a tune or two on your steel and you don't mind folks from all over the world listening to you then by all mean have at it. Got a question about how a lick was performed...just ask and you can bet someone will be happy to help you out with the answer. Your dues go towards the bandwidth costs as well as software costs....we do the work....you have the fun. The cost for membership is $5 a month and you can't hardly go to town these days for $5. You can talk with people across the state or across the entire United States....and especially to all the guy in the UK...France....Australia....or anywhere they might be and it doesn't cost a penny extra. You may be someone who just wants to keep your playing to yourself or you may be a working musician who doesn't want to talk steel guitar because you work it so much. Heck God Bless you...that's ok. We made this room for steel players who wanted to share with each other and steel a lick or two. We don't want anyone to come if they don't want to....but we want you to feel welcome if you choose to join in with us.
