I hear "Going where the lonely go" in that song. How many times can you do the same song with different words?

I love Merle, but I'm sad he is repeating himself.

Doesn't Norm sound great with no pedals? I love the song and don't find any thing sad about it except the lyrics, as they're supposed to be.
