Someone making a LARGE buck? Nah... nothing wrong, unless the buyer is unhappy...

The buyer might get unhappy when he finds out that Sho~Bud never made a seat like that.

That is a "Steelers Choice Easy Rider".

Ah, what the heck, he only paid $200 too much for it.

If it has the Sho~Bud logo, doesn't that automatically make it a Sho~Bud seat?

Black Sho~Bud seats sound better, especially with the backrest.

Okay guys here's the story. If memory serves me right and if I am not mistaken, this seat began it's life as a Sho-Bud designed and built by the master himself Duane Marrs.Years ago,I was asked by the owner, who's name I can't remember, if I could refurbish and add a back to this vintage Sho-Bud seat. I disassembled and recovered the box and add the same metal trim and hardware used on our Steeler's Choice seats. I made a new lid and added new cushion, cloth and the Steelers Choice fine back rest. For the vintage touch I reinstalled the Sho-Bud label back in it's orginal position. If you noticed, the original dividers and interior of seat still remains as built by Sho-Bud. I can't say the price paid is good or bad,but deep down the seat really is "vintage". And now you know THE REST OF THE STORY...Thank you, Dan Rollans of Steeler's Choice steel guitar seat co. www.steelerschoice.com

Hey Dan,
Good to hear from you.
I did notice the interior being different, but I did see "Steeler's Choice" all over the exterior. Thanks for the great explanation.
As Mikey stated, if the buyer is happy, It was a great deal. :) :)

Thanks again to you and Ken for continuing to build the finest Steel Seat available today!

Bob :)

I have an old pack seat around here. I think it an old Jack Seat and and old Emmons tag . Maybe I could get 450.00 for it by listing it as an Emmons Push Pull Pack Seat. 8) :P

Dan,

Is this a service that you offer, to refurbish old Sho-Bud seats and upgrade them to your specs?

Also, can you sell a set of legs separately?

Once more... Would you build a special color combination seat?

Thanks,
God Bless,
Michael T.
