What about the Fender volume/tone pedal?

Can you really work it like a sort of combination of a volume pedal and a wah? I know it's not a real wah but still, how easy is it to control the tone with it?

Terje,
i have this pedal a few weeks now. The volume swell is soft and even. The tone swell is stiff and i cannot get the doowah sound out of it.

Maybe somebody knows a modification for better doowah.
