Mike Wilson on youtube playing Dream on C6

Post by Mike Wilson »

My attempt at playing one of Herby's songs titled Dream. Not quite the way Herby does it, but I thought I'd try recording it while I was learning it. Doing 3 things at one, learning the song, learning how to use my camcorder and learning how to put it on youtube. Too much at one time. Anyway hope you like it. Go to http://youtube.com?v=W27X_fio2XE

Fine Mike, and I hope you do more on the C6th. That big band music is really what I like. Larry

Great Job Mike! Great Tone, Great Touch!

It's also nice to put a face to the voice I know as Mike Wilson. You ain't near as ugly as Joe said you were. JUST teasin' buddy.

Keep up the good work.

Great job. Long time since we've picked together, but would love to do it again. Keep at it, you're doing fine.
Looking a little long-haired for a Navy guy, but OK.

Thanks Ray, Yeah those days of playing together in San Diego area are a ways back. Didn't realize it buts its been almost 18 years ago. Man I'd give anything to be able to pick with all the guys again. You, Chuck Howard, Frank Buffner, Greg Dopp, Tony and Nancy, Paul Dominick, Whitey, some I can't even remember the names of anymore, and of course The Great Merv Cook (man what a guitar player). Those were the days. I still haven't got ahold of Merv. Should do that pretty soon. Talk to ya soon.
