My first video (It was a blast!)

Post by Bob Wood »

My first ever "commercially" produced video. We were up on the top of a mountain in California. We had a blast! :D Literally! If you look real close you'll see me sitting behind my Franklin picking away!

Check it out!

Nice, Bob - the Franklin sounds great like a Franklin should. Good to hear them crankin' 6-string guitars sharing with the steel so nicely. ;)

BW, Cool concept vid. Woud've liked to have seen at least one fretboard shot though!

Thanks for the compliments guys, and, I gotta be honest....they used the tracks from his CD that was produced and recorded in Nashville using session players. So that's what you're hearing, but, I had to learn the song note for note in order to play with Tim on our road tour last summer. I might add that we had a ball playing on the road. That was also my first road tour, and hopefully it won't be the last. Tim is one heck of a vocalist and songwriter. He has quite a story being a California boy trying to make it in Nashville. Check him out at: www.timmurphy.net. I thought I understood that the video will be aired on CMT, but I'm not sure of that, and I don't have a date that it will be aired. At the moment, I'm playing with an up and coming band here in San Jose California called "Slingtown". We have six piece harmony vocals and some of the best musicians available in the San Francisco/Bay Area. Plus, we have our own private studio with the latest and greatest Pro-Tools set-up available. Keep an eye on this group!
Our website isn't up yet, but it will be soon! That address will be: www.slingtown.net.
