If anyone has a keyless S-10 GFI (or Williams, or ?) to sell, let me know. Send me a pm or email. I posted an ad in the wanted section, but that's probably a low traffic area. ( To stay on topic, sort of) I am sure a Rittenberry is a very fine guitar, but my choice would be a GFI (keyless) for size and weight besides being a fine steel. The look has grown on me over the years to the point where I actually like it. So how 'bout it, anyone have one to sell?

I had a GFI and sold it, just ordered a Ritt. The GFI is a little bit too light for me.

That's why I want one. I usually have to carry multiple instruments and amps which makes taking my Sho-Bud very unpleasant.

If you like the sound of each equally, buy the Rittenberry; it is the more beautiful.

Ritt, hands down.
The GFI's have always felt cheap to me just like the Carters and I think it has something also to do with the height of the necks and I never did like the tone they put out or the finish on the bodys.

The GFI's not only feel cheap but look cheap to me even though I've played on one and they sound great. The Carter looks and feels like a Pro guitar to me. Carters are still one of the best looking and playing steels out there but,JMO, are lacking on tone.

Didn't mean to step on any toes, this is solely just my opinion. I've heard some mighty fine sounds coming out of a GFI guitars.

Gee, didn't realize how old this post is. He may have ended up with a banjo.
