I just learned the sad news of my buddy Bryan's passing. I had spoken to him the week before and I really thought from our conversation that he was on the mend, so this comes as a shock to me. I tried to call him a couple of times last week and got no answer, which worried me.
As stated earlier, he was a world-class player and builder and and a great fellow. Many fond memories of get-togethers, guitar deals and helpful phone chats over the last 30 years....I even bought from him last spring the LG Im playing these days. A fine axe, built by Bryan way back when. Thanx ol' pal.
My prayers for Carolyn and family and Bryan's many, many friends and fans.
RIP Bryan and know that you'll be missed.
sincerely,
MC

Bryans' memorial service was very nice and dignified. We laid him to rest on Sunday. It was very cold and snowing untill the bugle played "Taps". Although it was still cold, the snow stopped and the sun came out just like it was on cue.
He will be greatly missed.
Mike I tried to call you but I didn't have your new number. Sorry pal.

So sorry to hear this about Bryan, I didn't know him well, only met him a few times but when we spoke you knew he had a big heart. He gave me a couple of his CD's the last time I saw him and we maybe spoke once since then which was several years back.
RIP Bryan...I'm glad to have known you even a little.

B.A. was a gem. Spent a lot of time with him through the years. One of the funniest stories concerning B.A. is when I was working for Ava Barber in 1983. We did a Pacific Northwest tour in October and November. We left Knoxville on our way to the first gig in Okanogen, Washington. We stopped at a truckstop in Casper, Wyoming one morning to fuel up the bus and this guy was there and asked us where we were from. Well one of us said we came from TN and we were a country band. He said Tn huh? You know Bryan Adams? We said yeah we know him. The guy was a bass player and singer that B.A. had played at the Beacon Club in Casper years before. His name is Wayne Cagle.
It seemed like everywhere we went somebody knew him. It was too funny. Gonna miss B.A.

Yes Sir Mike.
I can tell you some great Bryan Adams Stories. He was widely known and celebrated. Most too long to tell here. I'll catch up with you one day, and share the greatest one I know from a little place called,,,,Wewahitchka, Fl.
He will surely be missed. Now, from the early days of Uncle Sam's Air Force, together, Mike Hoover has a sack full of great tales.
