Earnest Bovine is learned and wise. I agree with him…..most of the time.

Yes. It was Red. I did some dates with Frat playing steel. They said it was Red on the session. CW

You don't come around here often enough. I used to watch you on "Country Music Time" in LA back in the 60's. :)

Thank you Herb

I visit quiet often but don't have much to say. I remember you also. It's always nice to come here to find out what was going on back in the day. As said before...If you remember the 60"s, you weren't there.
Happy pickin's

Carl, do you still have your Fender 1000?

I sold the Fender 1000 back in the sixties and got a Fender 2000 of which I totally wore out. Now, I have a GFI that is made by Gene Fields, who was instrumental in the making of the Fenders back in the day.

Carl,
Were you the guy that played on the Michael Parks album Closing The Gap? I remember it was someone named Carl, but the last name escapes me. I bought the album because James Burton was on it, and there was some really cool steel playing as well. Maybe the first album I bought that had steel on it. Sure sounds like an Fender.
Sorry about the thread hijack..
