Sho Bud Maverick wanted?

Post by Dan Ames »

I am lookin for a Maple ShoBud Maverick. I have a 1970's Pedalmaster. If I find the SB to do what I want (short of play itself) I'd let go of the PM. 3 pedals an one knee is all I can manage anyway! Is there a difference between the Maple body and the Mica body aside frome aesthetics?

I started with a blonde maple body and that baby could sing!
( and 17 lbs.!) Several pros tried it and they were impressed, too. Get yourself a maple with one knee, and you can get another added if you feel the need. They're out there. Good luck.

Dan, I have sent you an e-mail. I think I have what you are looking for. I have some pictures but don't know how to upload them to the Forum. I can send them in an e-mail though.

Yes I'm interested. Email photos. I'm not good at that stuff either. How much would you want for it? How old is it?

Thanks, Dan

Dan I am going to try to upload these pictures via the Forum. I do not know how old the guitar is but I have had it about 15-16 years. Maybe someone one the Forum could help to date it by the model number 6152. It has been played very little. I would like to get 400.00 plus shipping for it.

Dan, I have sent the pictures via e-mail. Hopefully they are better than the ones I posted on the Forum. Let me know what you think or if you have any trouble opening the files. they are jpeg's.

Joel:

do you still have this? What are you asking? How old and what shape is it in?
Does it need anything, brakes, alternator?

Dan, Thanks for your interest in the Maverick, but after much consideration I have decided to keep it.
