Hi David

I would like to know what tone bar you are using...it looks like it changes color, even when you aren't moving it?

It would be neat to have a bar made out of glass with small lights inside that would change color as you are playing. Just a crazy thought!

Keep up the good work...I enjoy your playing.

Hey Harry, I wondered when someone noticed the polished stainless steel bar with a clear dome on the end with colour changing LED in! Patented here! May make some up to sell..What do you think?

Paul, this particular track is a midi file I dowloaded from the net. I seen to remember its one of the great files recorded by Don Carroll TX.. All of the clips you see and hear apart from this one is my own work. Midi..Old gear, Roland U220, Alesis MMT-8 , Midi keyboard and stuff.. Nothing too clever. I had many years from the age of 5 to 11 having piano lessons so that helps with the keyboard work. Brought up listening to country music from day 1 and playing in bands since 13..

Well put me down for one if you do make some. What sizes are you going to offer?.

Too cool.

Had a word with my buddy Keith White (steel guitarist UK).. We're going to make some up in the next couple of weeks. 24mm diameter 10 string length..I will YouTube the finished item. Don't know about price yet? Got better electronics coming from Germany next week with fading/colour change LED..David..Gonna post to the forum to see if there's much interest..

I really like the way you do that, just great playing; is there a tab anywhere that is close of this song?

Hey what's your copedant if you don't mind my asking - particularly the knee levers? I heard some cool moves I couldn't quite place. Great playing by the way. Sounds a little like L.A. home boy Jay Dee Maness.

Would like to point out: Check out the "Stealin Corn" rendition. This shouldn't be allowed to get under the radar.

This, in my opinion, is the absolute epitome of the steel and lead guitar twin instrumental.
Buddy and Leon had some fine ones, but I've always thought this was the best one ever.

Nice job Dave!!

Do you have the original? I've been looking for that Strangers instrumental album for years...

I've started looking for this song on my guitar. The danger of this is having to change when the tab comes out, hopefully, and having to unlearn my way. I agree some of it reminds me of Hal and Jay Dee, but then too maybe that's why it's so good and "catchy". Keep picking David, we love it.

Charles,
I only have that snippet.

I worked it out for a forum member who was having difficulty with that particular run-down a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not 100 percent sure that I've got it right, but it's in the ballpark :)
