Auction on eBay.

Maybe somebody who'd be interested missed this. I don't know anybody involved.

d6

I've been on the fence about buying this one. It's kind of ugly looking. How do they play/sound would be more important. Anyone own a D6 or D8?

That would be in the eye of the beholder.

This is a model 206. I had a model 208 ( Duel 8 ). They sound great. Often the pickups need to be adjusted which is easy. Even if it needs pots and a tone cap that's not a big deal. Also, tuners are easy to find for 6 strings.

"The new Console 500 Series Triple-neck and Console 200 Series Double-neck Guitars are the finest available today in the musical instrument field."

Hehe, I love catalogue literature that says nothing.

Notice the "Keyword Spam" in the description: brand names that have nothing to do with the item.

Brand names like "Fender" and "Gibson", put into the text by the seller so his auction will come up in the search results of eBay buyers who are searching for those brands. What a sleazy ploy. That's against eBay rules, and they shut down such auctions if they notice them.
Fender,Gretsch,Rickenbacker,Hofner,Vox,Gibson,Epiphone,Ibanez,Taylor,Martin,Paul Reed Smith,National,Supro,Marshall,Ampeg,Mesa Boogie,Kustom,Silvertone all make cool gear, but this is the coolest.
Nice D-6, but I think it's a little overpriced.

Yes, it's ridiculous! No reputable seller would do that.

Maybe less experienced but honest people see it and think it's ok.

It is a nuisance, though. In some of my ebay searches, I have the longest possible list of terms to be excluded.

That's exactly the junk that makes me list so many excluded terms in my searches. Maybe if everybody reported it, we could reduce it. Whaddya think?

Steel crazy after all these years.

$100 reward for info leading to the purchase of a fender D8 white, yellow, or butterscotch.

Also, I notice some sellers give a ridiculously long line of B.S. when describing their item. That's a red flag for me.

I really like the looks of that model. Do you know where I could get one for less?

Does anyone here have one that they'd like to trade away? Seriously. I got stuff that I'd trade for one.

Bob, they come up quite often on eBay. I have seen a number of them. Here is a link to a man who has a T - 8 for sale;

How could anyone possibly have missed it? If they were looking, they could have easily found it. If they weren't looking, they aren't interested.

I don't understand all of these "ebay alert" threads.

If anything, I'd hope people wouldn't spread the word about an item I found. Anyone who has a hope of getting a decent price are gone.

If the auction item is simply for interest in the item, wait for the auction to end.

Everybody,

Let's not get into a beef. Paul has stated a respectable opinion. I got into an online shouting match with a guy here a year or so, and I've felt like a schnook ever since.
