WTB peavey 15 inch BW with black cone

Post by Terry Curley »

I'm looking for a black widow speaker that came in the newer session 500's they were
made for TV the cones were black the corners
were black. Any way some one may have an old 500 that the amp don't work but the speaker
is still in good shape. I have one of those
amps and the tone is incredible. I want one to put in my 2000.
Thank you Terry

Terry I'll have to get back with you tomorrow night. I have to work tomorrow for a friend and don't have time to dig it out tonight it's up in my studio. It's in a cabinet but I can tear it apart and check it out tomorrow night if your interested. Thanks; Lyle Bame

Well Terry I just had a good one. I bought this PV cabinet probably 10 years ago as a 15 inch Black Widow. My steel player ran through it for a couple years with a Fender Dual Showman head. It sounded great. I just tore it down and you'd never believe it only had 2 screws holding it down and it's a Radio Shack speaker. It has the cover in back like a JBL but. I'm sorry if I got you excited for nothing it was totaly unintentional. I appoligize and will look aroun here for one for you. (Portland Or area) Thanks; Lyle Bame
