That's right, The International Ozark Steel Guitar Association Jam Videos, are up and ready to be played by all Fourm members. I hope everyone will enjoy them. Permission was given by all who played on these videos. These are and will be great memories to watch and download for the future. The Intro Video gives you an idea of who and what went on at the Jam.
Thank you for allowing me to do this for a great association.
Hey... What's with these hillbilly's. Every time I click on the video cam they are always playing the same songs. .. ha ha
This was our first meeting last year and we now have a lot more members playing at the meetings and we are learning some good stuff. This is a great opportunity for beginners too because there is personal free instruction from the pro's and from your buddie's. And, the food is worth the trip alone !!!
Holy Cow; Guys and gals; what fabulous steel playing coming by way of The Ozarks.. What is the young man's name, the one with the RED Shirt? How old would you say he is? I couldn't believe my ears that such great pickin' was being produced by his fingers; and such excellent control of his Bar..And I have to admit, those other boys were doing a great job, too. Where in the Ozarks did this take place.I visited Branson last May; went to the Baldnoggers Show and enjoyed Roger Blevins Steel Pickin' a whole heap. Would have loved to see & hear Tom Brumley's Talent, once again.. But your group did an excellent job.. Send us more, when you can.. Much appreciated..Bernie [ An Adirondack Mt. Hillbilly ]
The young man in the red shirt is 12 years old Austin Stewart. You are going to hear alot about him in years to come. The first time I heard him play, one of songs was the Orange Blossom Special. I could not believe what I was hearing. How could he be that fast and clean. You can hear him at most of our jams and is one of our confirmed players at our 2 day Event in July.
Hank: Thanks so much for letting us know about this young man on the " Mullen". What a fabulous sound from all you fellows ; Your guitars and Amp System was superb, on most of you. Were you the one playing a Derby, Hank? I would have liked to be able to have heard you a wee bit louder. I'd love to hear Austin do The Orange Blossom Special. The only steel player I've heard do that O.B.S. was Jimmy Crawford, and his version was absolutely out-standing; just as Austin's rendition of it is, no doubt . If you ever get Austin's instrumental of the tune on video, would you kindly POST it for us.. All you guys; keep up the great work..Bernie
Hello all. I am Austin Stewart's mom and this is my first time to look under this "steel on the web" section of the forum. First I will say that Hank and others did a wonderful job on the website.
Thank you all for your nice compliments about Austin. He just turned 13 back in June. He has been playing on stage since he was 6 years old and loves every minute. He lives in a little town called Mulberry, KS, which is in Southeast Kansas. He splits his time between the Oxark SGA and the Baxter Kansas KSGA club and is a member of many more around the country.
Those of you wanting to hear OBS, that song is on his new CD called Steelin The Show. This CD was made in Branson, MO. and was produced by Terry Bethel. It also has the Branson Connection Band behind him and they did a great job. You can order it directly from Austin by sending $15.00 plus $2.00 shipping to:

Thanks again and we hope you will come out in July to attend the two day event in Branson that Hank and many more have worked so hard on.
