Good job Richard,
You handle a universal 12 very well -- keep up the practicing
and the posting's. I have lost track of all the great Steel players that have come out of the U.K. over the years --
Dave Nash, Spencer Scott , Peter R. Jones, Micky Byrne, Bashil, Ken Byng,Sara Jory, and way back a few years, Gordon Huntley (now deceased) and John Davis just to name a very few. Keep up the good work Richard -- youve got some big shoes to fill, and you can do it !!
the old gringo, Phillip.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the kind words
Phillip, its an 11 stringer, although it looks like a 12, as the keyhead is 6 on one side and 5 on the other.
Ignore the contraption that I've put where the 11th machine head should be, that's another story !
DD, I tune (straight up, to 440) with the pedals down method, to minimise the effect of cabinet drop

B.J. Cole/ Richard Burton
Very nice clean playing, Richard; You are the second person from the UK which I've had the pleasure of listening to this Eve. Just heard Sarah Jory on Utube; Both of you do a fine job, Does anyone over in the UK have a clip of B.J.Cole doing his thing; I've never heard of him.. Sounds like he is one of your valued steel players.. Would enjoy hearing him.. Thanks, Richard..Bernie
