Sho Bud S10

Post by Henry Nagle »

Hi there!

I am (very reluctantly) selling my Sho-Bud. It is a round front single neck, 3 pedals, 4 knee levers. Blonde. It works great! Stays in tune really well. It sounds great and very powerful. It has a coil tap on what I believe is the original pickup. It was rebuilt by Tom Bradshaw a few years back so it has his "red carpet" treatment on the underside.

The pedals are Emmons A-B-C

At the moment the 9th string is tuned to C# and raises to D with the same lever that lowers the 2nd string to D. Other than that it's a pretty straight E9.

LKL raises 4 and 8 to F
LKR lowers 2 and raises 9
RKL lowers 4 and 8 to Eb
RKR raises 1 and 7 to G

Good hardcase. Fairly beat up on the outside but reasonably intact on the inside. Functions great.

I would say the guitar is in darn good condition. If anyone is really interested. I would be happy to go into detail and explain every little quirk and flaw via e-mail or telephone. I can also e-mail pictures.

This is a great guitar. I recently got a new Williams and I have become very comfortable with it. My wife (a photographer) needs a new camera. That is why I am selling the Sho-Bud.

$1400 includes shipping in the continental 48. I might be interested in a part trade for a budget squareneck resonator or a Fender Princeton Reverb.

Thank you! Henry

What kind of changer does it have in it? How many raises/lowers per string?
Thanks

Ryan... The truth is that I don't really know. It's an older guitar.

I took some pictures of the undercarriage. If you send me an e-mail I can send you some pictures.

I have purchased a guitar from Henry. His descriptions are accurate. He communicates well and his prices are fair. No buyers remorse here.

Hey Henry....I emailed you yesterday and got your email and the pics but can't seem to send you another email for some reason. I got a Morrell resonator and a Peavey Nashville 400 that I don't have any need for and maybe we can work a trade. Interested?

Thank you to everyone. I believe I have sold my guitar to a nice gentleman who drives large trucks on frozen mud in the middle of the night. Godspeed, Mike!

I'll be sure and let you know if it doesn't work out, Eric. Thanks !
