That first clip is one of the best videos on steel I've ever seen. The playing is right on and the camera shots are interesting and inventive. Bravo!!

Very refreshing. I especially like the way uses the B&C pedals with the KL that lowers the E's. Excellent tone as well as intonation. Exactly what I look for.

Fabulous,
Thanks for the clip C.B.
How does he manage to run up stairs with his steel? :D :D
Must be a sooper dooper lite weight or a sooper strong player.
Best regards

Great clip CB. I can't ever recall a time I have run up the stairs with my loaded case and have a smile on my face. Usually I'm saying words I can't repeat here. LOL This is the first time I have seen this cat play. What a steeler.

Thanks CrowBear. That was some of the best camera work ever. I loved the closeups.

Jean Yves' s video is actually the intro to one of his instruction courses called " Keep a Good Grip on the Bar"
the camera work & close ups throughout the course are at that level

JYL might not be a member but he's been followin' what's goin' on here since quite a while
i sent him the link to this thread & he was tickled pink to read how well he's appreciated by y'all

I couldn't read the name on the guitar, is anyone familiar with this brand? IMO it has an interesting changer and sounds pretty good, and seems to be light.
