Well Yeah if you do it like that!!!!!!!!! What great playing by two great players. The whole band was great back then. I sure miss those days. What has it come to? Thanks so much for the post, Bobby

I wonder how much woodshed time it took to nail these two songs.

Just amazing! The tonal clarity and virtuosity together are beyond description. Those Texas Troubadours band-only records are my absolute favorite instrumental country records, period.

"Some mighty fancy pickin' back there, boys". Quite an understatment. :)

Leon Rhodes is probably the most hidden talent in the world of 6-string. It hurt to see him on Hee-Haw playing rythmn guitar in the background while "star" Roy did his gymnastics and grimaces while playing mediocre guitar. What a waste.

Guys, it just don't get no better than that. Of course I'm a Rhodesaholic. Charlton is great too, but since I play mostly six string, Leon Rhodes has never ceased to amaze me with his playing. Wouldn't it have been great if Leon Rhodes could have cut an album with Joe Pass? Perhaps have Tal Farlow in there too. Well, wish in one hand...................................

When I owned that ShoBud BC is playing, it never sounded like that!!!

I wonder if Scotty still has it in his collection a I traded him the ShoBud for an Emmons.
