The Heartache Al Brisco ISGC 1997
Here is a clip of my buddy from Canada, Mr. Al Brisco.
In this song, he emphasizes the "crying" sound of the pedal steel.
But don't let this fool you. Al is lightning quick and clean. He can play "banjo" rolls as fast as anyone.
Enjoy,

Thanks Bill!
Many thanks for this and all the other vids you've been posting Bill!
The song is called "The Heartache", written by J.K. Gulley & Tim Taylor.
Note the "behind the bar" pickin at the three minute mark.
I often use the ending of this song in ballads.
So much so that I almost forgot where I stole it from.
Thanks for the reminder.
(It's is 4 note chords. The thumb rakes across 2 bass notes)

Opening Credits
In the opening credits of the clip Bill states Al is:
He just might boot you back!
Credit must be given to Sally for noticing this (or I'll get the boot).
I want to caution everyone about that."A great all around player and a super nice guy to boot."
