Thanks for the tips!

This is a really interesting section on the Forum here. You've pointed me to some really wonderful stuff on YouTube, and I just want to thank you all.

Most recently, I went to look at some pickin' by Brent Mason -- one of my idols -- and somebody made some rude remarks and mentioned Scotty Anderson.

Well, I started watching Scotty and I think he's absolutely the best!! (And I've been watching great guitarists, from Howard Roberts to Joe Pass to Mason for 40 years.) Scotty plays a chorus with walking bass that sounds just like something Joe Pass does on his "Virtuoso" series, and then he turns around and plays a bunch of blazing single string like the "Gypsy Kings" -- who are copying Django Reinhardt.

I am just totally amazed by Scotty. He does some cuts with Bob Saxton -- who sounds a lot like me -- but he amazes Bob, as you can tell in the videos. These are just great, great music, and I thank you for turning me on to it.

Now...here is the question... where has Scotty been? Is he making recordings (besides youtube) Where does he play?
Where can we see him play? (I'd travel to see him!!)

More input, more input....
