Gerry Hogan on YouTube - ISGC 1995
I have just uploaded a great song, even though I don't know the title, of Gerry playing at the convention.
If I'm not mistaken, that's Nils Tuxen playing guitar. A great steel player in his own right.
I'm sure Gerry will post the title as soon as he sees this.

Great clip Bill, thanks.....great picking from Gerry. Yes that's Nils Tuxen on lead guitar, and like you said a great steel player too. I've seen him play quite a few times at Gerry's steel conventions over this side of the pond.

Bill: Thanks for posting this!
Jamie drew my attention to it; I've been teaching and hadn't had a chance to look at the Forum for a couple of days. Mostly, thanks for all the hard work you've been doing over the past several weeks, posting up all the really good stuff from my personal favourites!
Thanks to all you chaps for your kind words. It was interesting to watch this "from the front" so to speak! What a band: my friends Nils Tuxen, Jeff Newman, Roy Rosetta, Billy Linneman, Randy Hauser! Didn't Nils and Roy play amazing solos?
Yes, Bill, the song was "Just Because". I first heard it in the mid'50s, by Elvis , who recorded it in 1954, in his Sun Records period (with the great Scotty Moore on guitar!). Jamie is correct that Albert Lee does a great vocal version of that song on some of his gigs with Hogan's Heroes.
Thanks again, Bill, for the memories! (Also, thanks to Scotty for allowing Bill to post this). We'll play it next time you're over, Rick! Actually, I forgot about this one whenever you've been over previously!

Drummer
You are welcome Gerry.
By the way. Randy Hauser was deceased when that video was shot. The drummer in the video is John Stacey.
