I thought I better update this a bit. Along with Joe Wright and Don Helms, we will also have Rob Parker with us. He will be singing with Don and also playing a slot. I hope I can talk him into maybe singing one with me. Invites will go out around the first of the year. Those of you that want to play can contact me before then if you like. You don't have to wait for the invite. Also , there has been some interest in Joe doing a seminar. Joe says there is a possibility if there is enough interest. Let me know. We are going to have more fun than we deserve at this on.

6th Annual Dairy State Jam

Post by Bernie Liebe »

Great job booking one of the "Elite" players in the Steel Guitar World, Craig! Everyone needs to know that you and your entire staff along with many helpers put forth a supreme effort to make the Dairy State Jam a success, and it always is. The ocassional weather snafoo shouldn't deter anyone from attending. It's just a matter of making small adjustments to travel safe, to and from the event. Speaking of the travel part, If attendees are planning to stay over a night or two, BOOK EARLY. Hotel / Motel rooms are at a premium that time of year with many area highschool sports having regional playoffs, etc. Swimming, Gymnastics just to name a couple, draw large crowds and parents of the athletes and sports fans book a LOT of rooms around that mid-March time frame in all area cities. Don't let the lack of overnight accomodations keep you from attneding the 6th Annual Dairy State Jam, Mar. 16, 17 & 18, 2007. The following will help you get info on local accomodations; www.spacvb.com or www.wisconsinrapids.com
The 6th Annual Dairy State Jam location in Wisconsin Rapids is about 30 miles from Marshfield, 15 miles from Plover, 18 miles from Stevens Point. All these cities have fine accomodations but the key is book early! Looking forward to another GREAT SG Jam. Thanks again Craig. Bernie Liebe

Craig and Suzy- If you still have room, Kim and I would like to come up and help out. I may have to shovel snow for gas money, but will be worth it. Kirk

Kirk I feel your pain. It's a good thing we are north of you guys cause we may have to coast down to save on gas. We could ride on the Twin Reverb but i don't know if the weather and the wheels would hold out.

This just in,
The local convenience stores in Wisconsin Rapids had a special meeting to designate that signs be posted at the entrances of all stores beginning in March that state:
"steelers will be prosecuted"
and "limit one bunch of bananas per customer"
Way to go, Mark :D
