Deep Water - Buddy Hrabal ISGC

Post by Bill Ferguson »

Here's a clip of Buddy Hrabal on his only visit to the ISGC. I had never heard of Buddy before this show, but I was pleasantly surprised after hearing him pick and sing.

Enjoy,

What a great player. You should hear him sing. It will knock your socks off. I haven't worked with Buddy or seen him in a long time. He is one heck of a talent. We have to get you back to St. Louis pal. Loveya my friend, Bobby

Billy, I just checked and I do have it as a public video. If you tried it earlier today, it was marked private. I always post them as private until they are uploaded and I have a chance to check them out.

Another great one Bill. How I would love to raid your vault. This guy can pick as well. Never thought there were that many great pickers out there. It makes you stop and think. Thanks again for all these videos and thanks to Scotty too

Bill thanks for posting this one, We are so blessed to have Buddy in our neck of the woods, we get to here him play every Tuesday Night at the Finish Line Club here in Fort Worth, Texas. I was blown away by Buddy's playing, and his sound. Buddy Hrabal is by far one of the greats.

Buddie is one of my favorite steel players,he plays every tuesday night at "The Finishline " with the "country night live band" but he just had shoulder surgery and will be out of commision for several more weeks. But if you guys ever get a chance to go hear this guy ,you should do so,one of the true great one's.And he sure dont mind helping out a young steel player with a few pointers.
