Music hath the charm to soothe a savage beast, but I'd try a 10mm first.

Hatched, born, disgorged,
recycled minus a few gray cells.
A great argument against cloning...
Well
there's one born every minute
for PT Barnum,
why not for studio engineers.
It looked better than and SM58, why not give it a try!

I've seen things like this in the studio.
One day in the studio we were going to listen to a song and make notes in our charts when the "chick" singer said:
"This song is a waltz. Actually, it's a little faster than a waltz."
She was a "PLayboy Bunnie" and had on a top and shorts that were shorter than the girl's in the video, so we all agreed with her.

LOL... then there's the classic "Everything felt great, but the tempo's a little too loud"...

This one will never make it on CMT. Do you realize this one can actually count to four (4) and got it right the first time

Doug I like that one!
I had a session with my Lab L5 amp
sitting on an Steinway upright piano.
it had a buzz that day, so I asked this guy,
who repaired medical electronic equipment
for $135 grand a year to
" Put a ground lifter on the black amp please."
I came back from the control room and found the Lab amp
sitting on 2 pieces of 2x4 between the piano top and the amp...
I had to stop the clock for 20 minutes, till I stopped laughing.
The electronics wiz actually thought to get it farther
from the ground..
when it was already on top of the Steinway...
His buddy's AND wife never let him live that one down for 5+ years.
He got at least one ground lifter Ac plug adaptor for his birthday
or xmas for that long at least.

There WAS a piece of clean carpet on the top,
nice side down...
AND it was a very old beat up Steinway upright.
But is recorded great.
Now grandma's 1906 Steinway grand... that was another thing.
We didn't like even a candlelabra on that one.
Hoagy Carmichael recorded his last album on it.

Well guys, no matter how green she night have been I just wish I could have had the seat right behind her. I probably would have used the same end of that mic to mic my amp! Whattaya think? Who even cares about the mic at that point??????? I'm sure they would have replaced my track anyway like they have so many other times when I set behind the chic singer
