Steve,

Have not tried one yet, but I may buy one for my daughter, who wants to get into some editing possibilities--probably sound the same as the bigger one--software is exactly the same... Looks good for traveling...

Hope you had a great Christmas...:)

Chipsets??? Are we playing poker or carving .wavs...? :)

Seriously, I already have PTLE on both her Macs (an IMac and an IBook) and use my regular MBox on them, so it works just fine. It seems to run OK on my PC laptop, too.... I think I am about ready to pull the Mac trigger myself...

Was going to buy one for my new laptop until I read somewhere it wasn't compatible with media center.

John, just make sure...I was told after the fact that just because a regular m-Box would work was no guarantee that the Mini was OK...there is a page at the Digidesign website that lists compatible chipsets for Mini...I just got sold the wrong thing by the wrong guy...

I don't think chipsets are an issue with macs, though not sure... I'm sure most guys at GuiTarget don't know either :)...

Headed to the website to check it out...:)

John, you are probably right about Macs...my recording computer is a Mac and it probably would not have crashed it...good luck and Happy New Year!
