The system is still set up that only I, Bob or Joey can close topics in Music. However I have no special authority in any other area of the forum.

A 'sticky' is a thread that sticks to the top of the list of threads, instead of falling down over time like regular threads tend to do if not bumped up by newly added posts. Moderators can make a thread 'sticky' if they feel it's important enough to not let it get buried under newer or more active threads.

I thought it was a reference to a "sticky note" like those little yellow and pink pieces of paper with sticky stuff on the back. But what do I know?

I think all the Monitors have done and are doing a great job keeping this one of the safest enjoyable music Forums around.
