In honor of the new forum section I am starting a new thread for my "old" webpage with examples of my pedal steel playing in MP3 format.

There is a short description of each track, including size of file, and listing equipment I used and the sometimes the circumstances of the recording.

And if you like it... please tell us about it won't you?

Your clips were really a nice mixture of different genres of music, I especially like "My Sally". I've listened to several folks music today from the forum, and I know I say it in nearly every post, but I just have to say thanks for sharing, again. You talented people on here have no idea how great it is to be able to login and listen to all this super stuff!

One more time.....THANKS.

Joy

Dave, I always enjoy your music, and paraticularly your sessions with the quartet. Really nice jazz, and the steel is right at home. Fine playing.

er, thanks Gene, but I'm "Dave" Van Allen- not Mark... it's a common misidentification on the ole forum though.

Mark is no relation as far as we've been able to determine...
'cept in the fraternitie of PSG

anyway- Thanks for the compliment re: merging with other styles. if you only knew how nervous I was settin' in with those jazz cats...

I agree with Gene, Dave van Ronk; Where or When is just as sweet as I like it, and I'd like to play it just like that someday.
This is great stuff.

Glad you brought this back up, Dave. I've been enjoying some clips, with my slow dialup I have to stay with the shorter ones. That's a different arrangement of Beautiful Dreamer, I like it.

thanks for listening guys.. Howard I visited your site reciprocally, and took a listen; I enjoy your playing. Beautiful Dreamer as a shuffle was my friend Bill Williams' idea.

Darryl, you have me wondering what the "expected" numbers might be?
