Big "E" Video

Post by Bill Ferguson »

OK, you asked for it, so here it is. Buddy has graciously agreed to allow me to post some video clips I have taken over the years. This first clip is from Atlanta in 1980. Buddy was playing the "Blade" though MY Session 500 amp.

I will be posting more later PLUS I will be posting some NEW audio clips of Buddy playing his new ZUM.

BUT, YOU HAVE TO LET ME KNOW YOU WANT MORE. Your responses serve to give me a little kick in the B---. hehe

Enjoy "Gonna Build A Mountain"

Bill,

I love it. It reminds me of the time Buddy was doing the "Nashville Alive Show" with Phil Baugh. I miss that era. For several reasons LOL! But you can bet Buddy was one of them.
Thanks for sharing it.

Bill, thanks for crediting the incredible Woody Ledford, on guitar, in this clip. Woody's so modest, I've known him for 20-some years, and never knew that he'd played with Buddy. Woody's son, Dale, is an incredible bass player, who joined our band back in the 80's, two days after he graduated high school. Another incredibly talented musician. I've used the word "incredible" way too much in this post, but it's the only word that applies to these gentlemen, who let their talent speak for itself!

Thanks Bill. It's always fun to pick at the fish fry. It was great seeing you there. BTW, was one of those many video cameras there yours? I'd love to see some of that.

That's o.k. Bill. I'll ask Russ or Laney. It seemed as though there were at least 20 camcorders there. If I get a copy I'll see to it you get one.
