Where's your NYE gig?

Post by Frank Parish »

I'm playing The Moose Lodge in Clarksville, Tn. You all have a safe holiday and watch out for the drunks. I can't remember the last time I drank on NYE.

I'll be with "Southern Country" at the Moose Club in Crescent City, FL. Lots of old country, and a little 60's R&R.

I was going to keep this a big secret for fear of the place being overrun with fans but what the heck.

Take I45 from either Dallas or Houston go to Corsicana Tx and go East on Hwy 31 until people start to talk funny and stop when you get to the Coal Miners Club in Malakoff TX.

By choice, at home with my wife, enjoying the fireplace. After a lifetime of NYE's playing for the 'amateur' drunks, (the once-a-year variety,) may I NEVER play another one.

I'll second that Barry. This is my first one off in over 30 years. I got tired of all the fake and slobbers. The fire place looks much better and safer. J W Day

This year will be a great one on my end. I'm playing at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta with South 70 (original drummer and vocalist from Sugarland) and Michelle Malone. Eddie's is a listening club where the fans come out for the music, obnoxious drunks nowhere to be found. It'll be packed and slamming and I'm gonna have a ball.
