Drew, Thanks so much for posting these clips of Al Marcus. What beautiful use of jazz chords. Al is allways right there when anyone on the Forum has a question about chord structure or a copedant. Such skill and knowledge!!...and THANK YOU AL Marcus!!

Beautiful! That's always been a favorite since I heard Johnny Smith do it, It's even more so now. The right hand technique is interesting. Al, if I lived next door to you I'd pester You every day for tips.

Your mastery of the steel guitar even motivated our old friend Paul Graupp to post! (we've missed you Paul)
Al, that was gorgeous. They just don't play chord melody like that anymore and we're all the poorer for it. Thank you for all you've shared with us on the forum, Al.

Drew-Another one again all in the same week? Wow! Thanks again, Drew , you got talent. Another great video job on YouTube.
I wish to thank each and everyone of you for all the kind comments and words of encouragement to this old guy. (Dec.10 85 Years and still "Young at Heart") And still love my steel guitar.

Gene Jones- My good friend. Thank you again. I am glad we got our good friend Paul Graupp to post again. I have missed him lately. I used to read all the articles he Wrote for Fender Frets Magazine so many year ago. He was great at it.
Andy Volk-Playing chord melody style is my favorite way of playing. Kinda dated now, but that was our pop mussic in the 40's and 50's. I am glad you enjoyed it.

Once again, It is a pleasure to have this Forum, thanks to Bobby Lee,and having known so many Forum members over the last several years, and I feel like they are all my friends and a lot of top notch steel players too........al
Drew, in my exuberance of listening to the Chairman of the Board play I forgot to thank you for the efforts. Someday the BIG BOYS will learn and show the proper appreciation for Al Marcus and what he has contributed to this Forum, and the Steel Guitar community. Nuff said.
