I know a certain steel/bass player from Western Caravan, who will be picking up his new MSA Millennium at the show...wish I could be there to see the look on his face. (Or mine when he brings it back!)

I've been wanting to go to this for a few years now and this is my lucky year. I'm a fiddler from Alberta Canada, but a huge fan of Steel Guitar.
See you there!!

In around 36 hours I should be in NYC for a 3 day stop-over before heading on down to the Harvey Hotel for the Jamboree.
I'll have a piece (a large piece!) of paper with me, and all the names that have appeared on this forum thread will be written on it and I'll be using it as a check-list to search out all your faces !
(I felt it was only fair to issue a warning ! )

I'll be there. I'm playing guitar on Ronnie Miller's show. We are doing the Stranger's instrumental "Stealin' Corn". Can't wait.

I expect to be there for the Saturday day and evening shows. I know several of the Southeast Texas guys are coming as well (Huey Buxton, Bob Mathues). Looking forward to a great time and also wonder what happened to Jim Loessberg(???) Jim is a busy guy (live and sessions) and may be working that weekend. Either way I wish he could be picking.

Yeah, I'll be there Chuck Back of Desert Rose Steel Guitars will have my new guitar there for me to pick up. The first of his new series. Can't hardly wait to get there.
I am going to miss THE GREAT JIM LOESSBERG
It is a crying shame he's not going to be there. He takes a back seat to no one. Known Jim since the 70's.
See ya'll there!
