Just wondering, are there any members that attended Jeff Newmans school June 27 to July 2 1977? A couple of the extras we did were visiting the Sho-Bud factory, recording at Bradleys Barn and going to the opry.

Hi Lee: Thanks for the update on the jam at Butches Feb 19th. I wil be playing at Hought Mich. on Feb 4th. (weather permitting)

I was there sometime around that time. I drove my old green VW bus all the way from Mendocino, California. That was the school in the old driver's ed double-wide. Jeff hade a tape loop of some dogs barking.

Buddy Emmons came and did a concert. We were under strict instructions from Jeff not to ask him any questions. The bass player was Elvis's old guy...

That was a great time!

Hi Gord: Glad to here you still have the MSA XL. I sure liked that red laquer finish. I now have a Carter S10 red and a Millenium U12 black.

Tom: I guess we were in a different class as Hal Rugg played at ours. I do remember the barking dog tapes. There was a guy from California, don' remember his name. I do remember a guy from Ohio who had a Kline steel, he quit the school in the middle of the week.

Hi James, I was there June 4 week 1977. I was the oldest guy there. I enjoyed the country Lunches every day at the trailer and the comradeship.

As A former music teacher, I wanted to watch Jeff in action. He was just great and I learned a few things on E9th.

Hal Rugg was the guest Artist and one of the songs he played was one of my favorites, "all the things you are". He realy jazzed that one up.

He had an E6 tuning on the bottom neck, and explained his pedals. I had an E6th on my Sho-Bud but not all the same pulls.

I have a photo of us all, but I can't remember all the names. Bill Jobs, Marcus Weise, Harry Guffee?
I had a red Sho-Bud Proffessional D10, 8/5 a great tone and fine guitar. But real heavy.
I would like to remember the names of them all. Maybe Bill Jobes or one of the guys can tell me. Thanks...al

Hi Lee: I did send a reply but it did not post. I do plan to be at the jam. My Mother had been very ill with cancer and passed away Friday night so I aplogize for any delays for the next few days.
