George Canyon's steel guy

Post by Charlie Fullerton »

Can one of you gentlemen, or ladies name him? He play a custom built Derby -- Left-handed, and right-footed. Very good player on both necks. Seems to like Bob White (Hank Thompson).

Before he started playing steel for George Canyon, Monte Good had been playing steel for artists like John Michael Montgomery, Lila McCann, and Neal McCoy. He had played steel for John Michael Montgomery for a few years, then he left John Michael's band to play for Neal McCoy. Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10
