| If you read Bobbe's lastest tip, you would have to agree with him about ugly is better in the line of vehicles. He's is right about that. I would like to mention trailers, because alot of us use them to haul equipment to and from the gig. I highly recommend a horse trailer. I have been hauling mine and everybody else in the bands equipment for about 27 years now and I always used the same 2 horse WW trailer. Never has it been touched by the hands of a person in the market for something free. There is not a thief out there that is not scared of horses!! I've had security officers tell me that was a great idea as well. You can get a good used one for a lot cheaper than you can a nice inviting enclosed fancy cargo trailer. |

| Sounds like good horse sense to me. Can't get any more country than that! Horse thieves would be disapointed and the rest wouldn't touch it. Burglars would saddle up and ride off to greener pastures. Plenty of room for horsin' around during breaks... Man, we get a lot of mileage out of this potential hay-burner. Might wind up in the humor section though. |

| On the subject of transport options, Bobbe said don't bother with using an old Cadillac, but a co-worker here bought a 1985 Cadillac hearse with 30,000 miles on it for $2600. He has had it for about 2 years and maintenance has not been a problem, so far just a new alternator. Needless to say trunk-room is no problem plus he has been hauling lumber and all kinds of home improvement supplies. |

Ever since I got rid of my horse, I keep my PSG equipment in that trailer. The band tells me its got a funky smell, but nobody's ever bothered it.
