As long as you brought that song up, has any
one out there, Paul included, been able to pull that solo off note for note on stage. Our band has been playing it for about a year now and although I can play it (after some warm-up) in my basement, I always have to bail out after about two measures on the band stand. It is quite a knuckle buster. If Paul reads this post it would be interesting to hear his memory of the session and did he work up the solo or just "wing it"?

Modern recording equipment allows one to fabricate a real hot solo in the studio....but to do it on stage nay be another story.
It'll be great if Paul could give his thoughts.

While both of these solos are very good. It was just another day at the office for Paul Franklin. I'm thinking. if Paul were to do them on stage he would take it up a notch or two. Nic, You haven't heard Paul play in a jam situation have you?
