Larry White is still playing around Dallas. He has a good day job with Brook Mays Corporate offices. He drops by about every 4-6 months. |

I did a gig recently with Bobby Rambo on guitar. Bobby played with Ronnie for years. He wrote several songs on the Steerail sessions. Amazing stuff. They were working on releasing that material when Ronnie died, and Bobby and Larry might still do that. |

I've been trying to see Larry White play for years! The first and only time I've seen him was in 1970 at the Palomino Club in North Hollywood. He was in a band, if memory serves, called "Blue Steel Blacksmith." Somebody correct me if I'm wrong about the name.
Anyway, Larry White TOTALLY KNOCKED ME OUT! And that was 35 years ago! I think he was playing a black MSA. Great player.

Herb,
When I saw Larry in Dallas he would also ran through a Leslie Tone Cabinet. What a phatt sound! It sounded like a large orchestra. I've never heard anyone duplicate that GIANT sound since!
We should invite him to the TSGA show in March. Any ideas?

If my memory serves me... I saw him play in 1976 with Ray Wylie Hubbard (I think) at that racetrack/speedway in Lewisville TX. And yeah, he was on fire.
I seem to remember a blue MSA? |

I first met Larry when he was with RWH in 1994. Bobby told me he works at Brook Mays (I think) on Belt Line Rd in Dallas. |
